"The only way I get to see my son is through a picture. My son can't even have a funeral because of these people."

The Dubois County Substance Abuse Council held a candlelight vigil in Huntingburg to raise awareness of the addiction that members of their own community are facing.

Mackenzie and Paige have had many people in their lives struggle with addiction, and two of them have lost their lives.

"I just deal with a lot of these things," said Mundy who is a social worker at Northeast Dubois schools. "It's kind of just near and dear. It's everywhere.
